Leopard Rant

I can't find a good forum to rant about the new MAC Leopard operating system. The Apple forum seems to be telling anyone who has anything negative to say about their new OSX that they need to be more specific about their problems, or that they have hardware (also mac) problems. And of course, because they are denying there are any problems in the first place, they can't admit to fixing them in any upgrades to the program.

I was skeptical that my old iBook G4 would be able to handle yet another OS upgrade, but it met the minimum listed requirements. I still was unimpressed with the advertised features of Leopard, and only upgraded because my husband did and now our iCal calendars wouldn't sync. (thanks, for that Apple). So I was forced to go through the hassle of the upgrade, which went surprisingly well.
But now my happy, friendly, hardworking, abuse-taking mac runs like a PC with the work ethic of a meth addict. Sometimes I can't even turn it off. I mean when I finally get my kid to go to sleep, I just want to click my mac off and go to bed. I can't handle having to close down each application individually at that time of day.

So I'm waiting for the new release, which they claim won't fix any of the puking PC-like behaviour of my little mac, and if it doesn't help I'll be reverting back to Tiger. With all of the hassle that will entail. I'll have to backup all the work I've done to the website since the "upgrade" and hope that I can transfer it back into the old operating system. The iCal problem will be a serious one for our household. Now I will have to rely on hubby actually telling me when he will be flying out on business. I can see I'll be cooking a lot of dinners that won't get eaten. Oh well fingers crossed that Apple really will take care of its customers as it has in the past.
