Deaf Childrens’ Society of BC Preschool is largely funded by the provincial government, and have had this funding greatly reduced. They have been a HUGE support for our family. We received home visits from the Speech Language Pathologists from the time Merlin was identified with hearing loss, from the age of 2 1/2, he has been attending this excellent preschool, we have also received signing instruction to our family, advocacy in the transition to kindergarten, and much, much more.
